Our Mission is to bring God’s love and hope by demonstrating gratitude and respect to the men and women veterans and their families, especially the combat wounded of the United States Armed Forces.

We support veterans and their families on Long Beach Island and the surrounding mainland communities through a myriad of activities. A partial list of our work includes:

Organize the Annual Mass of Appreciation at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Brant Beach, NJ honoring the men and women of the US Armed Forces and First Responders.  We invite ambulatory and wheelchair-bound disabled veterans from the NJ Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland, NJ to attend the special mass followed by a luncheon.

Prepare and distribute gift bags to homeless veterans.

Award partial scholarships to senior high school students who demonstrate excellence in academics, community service, and are the son, daughter, or ward of an Honorably Discharged Veteran of a branch of the US Military, or member of a JROTC Program and to fund our veteran programs.

Support the “NJ Run for the Fallen,” & “Bring a Hero Home for the Thanksgiving & Christmas Holidays.”

Annually, in conjunction with the Order of Malta, American Association, we invite a disabled veteran(s) to participate in a one week all-expenses paid spiritual journey to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, France.  The medical team of the Order of Malta evaluates all applicants prior to commitments.

Provide an afternoon of music entertainment and refreshments at veteran nursing homes.

Raise awareness to issues concerning veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sincerely yours,

William F. Benedict, Pres.
